Bestselling author Shirley Palmer was born and educated in England. She moved to the United States to work for the British delegation to the United Nations in New York. After marriage to an American architect, she accompanied her husband to Saudi Arabia, a society closed to the West, and lived there for five years.The mother of one son, Shirley now lives in Woodland Hills, California, with her husband, her English bulldog and two cats.
