Ivy Kennedy arrives in Savage Ridge, Alaska, with one goal: tell her pregnant sister she is leaving medical school. After failing to save an overdose patient, the twenty-five-year-old Texan no longer trusts herself to become a doctor.

Then a Christmas tradition ties her half-dressed to Damon Savage for a whiskey-soaked race through the snow.

Damon is thirty-eight, owns the town bar, and spent six years as a police officer—including three undercover inside a Russian drug organization. His work destroyed his first marriage, and he has sworn never to risk his heart again.

Their attraction shatters every rule. Ivy wants one unforgettable holiday encounter before returning to Houston. Damon wants her first time, her future, and every Christmas that follows—but his possessive certainty collides with her fear that anyone she loves will eventually leave.

When Ivy tries to escape Savage Ridge during a blizzard, wounded mountain men arrive seeking medical help. Human traffickers have attacked Reaper’s remote family compound. Ivy has no license and has not taken her final examination, yet she may be the only person capable of keeping the survivors alive.

Saving Reaper’s six brothers and father forces Ivy to confront the truth: one patient’s death did not erase her ability to heal.

Snowbound with Damon after the rescue, Ivy finally believes in the love she once dismissed as impossible—and surprises the mountain man by proposing to him.

An explicit Alaska Christmas romance featuring a virgin medical student, an older former undercover cop, small-town family, first-time sex, wounded heroes, a blizzard, healing from abandonment and grief, marriage, an implied pregnancy, and a complete happy ending.
