When you are young you are so worried about what other people think and what you should be doing that it is exhausting. So if we look tired now, it’s because being young was draining – being older is so much more relaxing by comparison.

It’s simply that we know who we like and what we enjoy.

It is also satisfying to be wise enough to know that staying up very late or getting very drunk doesn’t mean you had a good time, only that the following day is likely to be painful.
