После прочтения странно печально счастливо. Ма вызывала очень противоречивые чувства: одновременно жалко, но и отвратительно от того, как она себя ведёт. Очевидно, что у неё депрессия после похищения и освобождения.
Джек ребёнок. Маленький ребёнок, который не совсем все понимает, но старается. Однако тоже только положительных эмоций не вызывает.
Этим и хороша книга: авторка не пытается выставить своих героев, которые являются жертвами, исключительно со стороны положительных героев-мучеников.

I enjoyed the plot but I just did not enjoy that the fact that the narrator is a 5-year-old child who tragically has not been outside of the Room. I would have enjoyed the plot a lot more if it had been narrated by Joy instead to hear out the full and detailed story.

after a while, I cannot put down the book. I'm curious how Jack and Ma would continue their life after..

I just don’t have words to describe what this book made me feel. It broke my heart and then it put it together again.

A great book to read, espesially if you are a Ma yourself.
