Every relationship depends on the needs of both the husband and the wife being met. Men in particular have needs that are crucial to the survival of the marriage union. The world has a tendency to generalize these needs as being purely sexual and although sex is a huge part of any marriage, it is not the only thing that a man needs. He needs support, encouragement and nurturing; a man is not only looking for a woman he can live with. He is looking for a woman he cannot live without. And if he is saved, he wants a woman that has a relationship with God. As a marriage and family counselor, I have counseled so many couples headed for divorce because of one important thing that was left unsettled in their marriages: unmet needs. As a husband, pastor and a marriage counselor, I decided to write The Wife He Wants: 7 Things a Godly Man Wants his Wife to be from the perspective of a man and a husband. In it, I will seek to help women understand what it is that men really want. What makes a Godly man tick? Women often ask these questions and while they are never to be blamed for the infidelity of cheating husbands, many marriages could survive and thrive if women really knew and supplied what their men wanted and needed. For the wife in waiting that may be reading this book, it may help you save your marriage before it starts. The Wife He Wants was written with the struggling marriage in mind. It was written for the misunderstood husband and for the confused wife. It was written with the hope that as women begin to understand the needs of men, marriages would flourish and men would remain faithful. This book is also written to the single woman that’s waiting to be found with the hope that it will help you gain insight into what a Godly man wants and needs in a wife as well as what steps to take in order to meet those needs. Women are one of God’s greatest gifts to the world. They have the power to heal, encourage and satisfy their husbands. Wives are called to support and minister to their husbands in ways that no other person on earth can. It is my prayer that this book will demystify the needs of men and help women of God everywhere to be the kind of wife that every Godly man wants.
