Dr. Fiona McKenzie, a scholar obsessed with forgotten languages and lost civilizations, stumbles upon a secret hidden within the crumbling pages of an ancient manuscript: Avalon, the mythical land of eternal spring, is dying. A malevolent serpent god, Xylos, casts a growing shadow, draining the land of its magic. The Treant, ancient guardians of the forest, are animated by destructive fury.  And a shocking betrayal within the Elven Council threatens to shatter Fiona’s hope and deliver Avalon into Xylos’s grasp.
