The ancient war between humans and demons is over thanks to Flio, the unassuming and omnipotent shopkeeper from another world, but peace hasn’t been an easy change for everyone. The end of hostilities between the Magical Kingdom of Klyrode and the Dark Army has left countless demons and magic beasts adrift, roaming the wilderness or selling their combat skills to unscrupulous villains. At least the Fli-o’-Rys General Store is always hiring! And with Flio’s newest invention, a gem that nullifies the toxic malicium lesser demons emit, true coexistence between humans and demons may yet be possible…
Meanwhile, is Flio’s son Garyl ready for higher education? Does the Maiden Queen have a rival in love? And did Hero Gold-Hair remember to pick up his companion Wuha Gappoli after forgetting her in an inn during his adventure in the last book?
