Shadow and Bone

Such a Y/A book, the main character have less personality than a cabbage, there is no construction or carácter whatsoever or relationships between them, the villan is bad just because he's bad, the good ones are good just because they are good, so many things happened way too fast to connect with the history.
But I won't deny that is such a a good history with an amazing world building with these Russian influences, the author just write it poorly

Loved it!

I read this and thought it’s still worthy because i like the show on Netflix. I don’t know if i would feel the same if i hadn’t watched it first, though.

The pace of the story is really slow and boring. If you ever heard the phrase of a good writing, “show, don’t tell”, this book is the opposite. Too much telling insignificant details to the plot. There are so many things that could’ve been shown or narrated that would actually contribute to the whole story development but just left undeveloped. Too bad.

местами ничего интересного, местами сюжет неплохо разгоняется так, что книгу невозможно отложить. говорят, что следующие книги гораздо лучше, поэтому продолжу читать серию.
