After months on the road, Doboro the Bottlenecker is reunited with Summer Winter, the young woman who helped him build his life here in the states upon returning from his South Korean exile. After rescuing her from muggers, he travels with her to her hometown of Paradise, which, instead of boasting the small-town quaintness Summer remembers, has been corrupting under the nefarious machinations of millionaire Stu Armstrong to turn it into the next Las Vegas. Problem is, Armstrong is all too willing to use deception and strong-arm tactics to get what he wants. But when he sets sights on Summer, count on Doboro to respond with unstoppable force and wit as sharp as the steel sword hidden within his cane. And he’ll need both when he starts to interfere with Armstrong’s plans. It won’t be easy, as Doboro develops an affinity for the lovely Mae Linn, Armstrong’s young security chief whose combat skills and sense of loyalty may rival his own, propelling them toward an inevitable and explosive collision.
